Psychologist, Neurodivergence and Special Education About My Safe Spaces My Safe Spaces is more than a startup. It is a movement to make mental wellbeing accessible, measurable, and human. My Safe Spaces is an AI-powered mental wellness platform delivering measurable wellbeing outcomes across four verticals: Schools (SWISS: Student Wellness and Institutional Safety Standards), Personal, Workplace (CREW), and Professional development (ELEVATE). We combine human clinical expertise with technology, applied research through SWISS Labs, and CPD-accredited learning to support students, individuals, working professionals, and the institutions that serve them. The Role We are hiring a psychologist with real depth in neurodivergence and special education to shape how My Safe Spaces supports neurodivergent students and adults, and the teachers, parents and managers around them. You will work remotely with schools moving through SWISS certification, with practitioners taking ELEVATE courses, and with the product team building IntelliCare. Much of the work is translation. You will take what you know about autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, specific learning disabilities, intellectual disability and sensory processing differences, and turn it into something a class teacher can act on next Monday, a parent can understand without being frightened, and a manager can put into practice without a specialist standing over them. This is not an independent clinical caseload. MSS is a wellbeing and certification platform rather than a treatment service, so you will support structured screening, profiling and referral, while formal diagnosis stays with the registered professionals in a person's own care pathway. The role is fully remote within India and offered on a part-time or full-time basis. Where You'll Work · The Four Verticals Schools · SWISS - K-12 & institutions - Inclusive-practice guidance for certifying schools, teacher capability building, and referral pathways for students who need more than a classroom can give. Personal - Individuals - Review of IntelliCare and Journi content for neurodiversity-affirming language, and the point where AI support hands over to a person. Workplace · CREW - Corporate teams - Neurodiversity at work: reasonable adjustments, manager guidance, and input into inclusive hiring practice. Professional · ELEVATE - Practitioners & learners - Course material and PRISM case studies covering neurodevelopmental presentations, written to CPD accreditation standards. What You'll Do Inclusive practice and guidance - Advise certifying schools on inclusive classroom practice, working within the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and the inclusion provisions of NEP 2020. - Support structured screening and psychoeducational profiling where MSS offers it, and write referral guidance that routes a family to a professional qualified to take the next step. - Contribute to individualised education plan templates and accommodation guidance that a class teacher can apply without specialist supervision. Teacher, parent and manager capability - Design and deliver remote training for teachers, special educators and school counsellors on identification, classroom accommodation, and de-escalation. - Write parent-facing material that explains a profile without pathologising the child. - Hold regular clinics for school staff and CREW client managers working through a specific situation. Content and curriculum - Author and review ELEVATE course material and PRISM case studies covering neurodevelopmental presentations, to the standard CPD accreditation requires. - Review IntelliCare and Journi conversation content for neurodiversity-affirming language, and mark the point at which AI support should hand over to a human. Assessment and measurement - Contribute to MOSAIC assessment patterns for neurodivergent students and adults, including saying plainly where a standard instrument is not appropriate. - Review outcome data and flag any claim that goes further than what was actually measured. Safeguarding and escalation - Follow the MSS escalation protocol when a student or user discloses risk, abuse or acute distress, including POCSO reporting duties where they apply. - Keep records to the standard a school audit or an internal review would need. What We're Looking For Required - Master's degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Special Education, or a closely related field. - Minimum 3 years working directly with neurodivergent children or adults in schools, clinics, early intervention centres, or special education settings. - Working knowledge of the screening and assessment instruments in common use in India, and honest judgement about what each one can and cannot tell you. - A track record of turning an assessment into something a teacher or a parent can actually do. - Written English strong enough to author training and course material without heavy editing. - Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India, where the work you would do for us falls within the RCI Act 1992. Tell us your registration status and category when you apply. Considered an Advantage - M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognised institution. - Experience with Indian K-12 schools and the accommodation processes they run, including CBSE provisions for children with special needs. - Familiarity with disability certification under the RPwD Act 2016 and what it unlocks for a family. - Experience building training content, CPD-accredited material, or curriculum. - Work with late-identified autism and ADHD in adults. - Proficiency in Hindi or another regional Indian language. How You Work - Evidence-led, and willing to say out loud when the evidence is thin. - Neurodiversity-affirming in practice, not only in vocabulary. - Able to hold a boundary with a school or a parent who wants a label you are not in a position to give. - Organised enough to work unsupervised, remotely, across an India
