CAREERS · CLINICAL & PROGRAMS Psychologist Counselling · Programs · Applied Research — across all four verticals About My Safe Spaces My Safe Spaces is more than a startup — it's a movement to make mental wellbeing accessible, measurable, and human. My Safe Spaces is an AI-powered mental wellness platform delivering measurable wellbeing outcomes across four verticals — Schools (SWISS: Student Wellness and Institutional Safety Standards), Personal, Workplace, and Professional development. We combine human clinical expertise with technology, applied research through SWISS Labs, and CPD-accredited learning to support students, individuals, working professionals, and the institutions that serve them. The Role We are hiring a Psychologist to work hands-on across all four verticals. This is a multi-disciplinary role for a practitioner who is equally at home in the counselling room, in front of a workshop audience, in the classroom, and at the whiteboard helping shape responsible AI tools. You will deliver direct care, design and run programs, contribute to applied research, and help translate clinical insight into product and content. We're looking for someone dynamic, sharp, and articulate — a natural communicator with sound clinical judgment and a genuine drive to make a difference. The role is remote, offered on a part-time or full-time basis. Where You'll Work — The Four Verticals Schools — SWISS - K-12 & institutions - Student counselling, safety & resilience programs, educator and parent sessions, certification support. Personal - Individuals - One-to-one online and in-person counselling; guidance that informs our personal-wellbeing tools. Workplace — CREW - Corporate teams - Employee wellbeing workshops, resilience programs, and 1:1 support for working professionals. Professional — ELEVATE - Practitioners & learners - Structured, CPD-accredited classes and mentoring within ELEVATE / Thrive Academy. What You'll Do Counselling & clinical delivery - Provide one-to-one counselling to students, individuals, and working professionals — both online and in person — across school, college/university, and corporate settings. - Conduct intake, assessment, goal-setting, and progress reviews; maintain clinical documentation in line with platform standards and applicable ethical guidelines. - Recognise higher-acuity or at-risk cases and escalate or refer through established safeguarding and referral pathways. Workshops & webinars - Design and deliver workshops and webinars for school communities, higher-education campuses, and corporate teams. - Adapt content and facilitation style to each audience and vertical — from student safety and resilience to workplace wellbeing. Structured classes & professional development (ELEVATE) - Design and teach CPD-accredited classes within ELEVATE / Thrive Academy — e.g., counselling readiness, school counselling, family, couples & relationships, and workplace wellness. - Develop curriculum, learning materials, assessments, and facilitator guides; mentor learners and counsellor cohorts. AI tools development (collaborative) - Partner with product and engineering to shape AI-assisted wellbeing tools — contributing clinical logic, assessment design, content review, and safety guardrails. - Provide clinical validation and human-in-the-loop oversight for AI-generated guidance and conversational features. SWISS Labs — applied research - Contribute to SWISS Labs, our research wing: study design, literature review, instrument selection, data interpretation, and write-ups. - Help evolve assessment frameworks and outcome measures across the verticals. Content & thought leadership - Contribute to our quarterly magazine, blogs, and other publications — articles, expert commentary, case-informed pieces, and program collateral. What We're Looking For Required - Master's degree (M.A. / M.Sc.) in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent qualification. - Demonstrable counselling experience with at least one of our populations — students, adults, or working professionals. - Experience designing and facilitating workshops, webinars, or training sessions. - Strong written communication suited to curriculum and published content. - Comfort working in a digital-first, remote/hybrid environment with cross-functional teams. Considered an Advantage - Doctorate (Ph.D. / Psy.D.) in psychology or a closely related field. - Training or certification in POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) and/or POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences). - Proficiency in a regional language relevant to our locations — e.g., Telugu, Kannada, Urdu, or Kashmiri — to support counselling and programs in the local language. - RCI registration and/or M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (especially where direct clinical practice is involved). - Background in school/college counselling or EAP / workplace wellbeing settings. - Interest or experience in applied research and outcome measurement. - Curiosity about AI and its responsible use in mental wellbeing. - Experience creating CPD-accredited or structured learning content. How You Work - Ethical, safeguarding-minded, and culturally sensitive in every setting. - A versatile communicator — comfortable moving between the clinical, the classroom, and the creative. - Collaborative and product-curious, with an appetite for building things that scale care responsibly. What We Offer - Flexible part-time or full-time engagement with remote-friendly working. - Rare breadth of scope across four verticals — clinical practice, teaching, research, and product. - A CPD-accredited environment and the chance to help shape applied research and AI-enabled tools. - Compensation commensurate with experience and engagement type.
